Lemuel was born and raised in Albuquerque. He attended Sandia High and graduated from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles with a Bachelors in Business and Political Science. After working and traveling in Europe, he completed an MA in Liberal Education at St. John's College Annapolis, MD. While teaching at Santa Fe High and Laguna-Acoma Jr. Sr. High he completed an MA at University of New Mexico. After teaching, coaching and serving as Athletic Director at Laguna High School he completed his public school career at Grants High School in Cibola County. He then went to Law School at University of New Mexico and began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in the Thirteenth Judicial District in Grants. While a Senior Trial Prosecutor in Bernalillo, NM he ran for District Attorney in the Thirteenth Judicial District and continues to serve the people of Cibola, Sandoval and Valencia in that capacity. He resides in Grants, NM and has taught for the New Mexico State University Grants Branch since 1996. With Lemuel's broad education and experiences he has brought to the Thirteenth Judicial District Attorney's Office a mission to provide litigation, special programs, and administrative support. To enforce, improve and ensure the protection, safety, welfare and health of the citizens within in Cibola, Sandoval and Valencia.
