The District Attorney's goal is to effectively prosecute all felonies with emphasis on violent crime, crimes against children and the elderly, DWI and domestic violence. To actively prosecute children's court cases. To better screen and accept cases with earlier individual attention and more thorough preparation. To better assist Police Agencies in delivering properly evaluated files to the DA's office at the on set. To develop internally, and with Police Agencies, plans and protocols for grading and weighing cases for processing. To prepare more cases earlier for trial level handling.
